Uzdin is situated 10 km north from Kovačica. This settlement, just like Idvor, belongs to the settlements near the Tamiš river and it is on the distance of 5 km from this river. It is built on the higher parts of the land.

Uzdin has a good traffic position, because the railway Pančevo-Zrenjanin-Kikinda is built beside the settlement, and through the settlement stretches the main asphalt road of the same direction. Through this traffic artery the population of Uzdin is connected with other settlements in the municipality.

Population:

According to the registration from 2002.year Uzdin had 2467 inhabitants. In the national composition most of them are Roumanians (95%), then Serbs, Gypsys and members of other national minorities.
