festival of Roumanian music and folklore from
Vojvodina
The festival was for the first time organised
in 1959. in Uzdin, the settlement with rich culture
tradition and folklore cherishing. Today it is
the most important culture manifestation of Roumanians
in Vojvodina. The characteristics of the festival
are: large number of participants (1500-2000),
quality, making the acquaintance of folklore and
tradition of other nationalities from Serbia and
participation of ensembles from Roumania, The
Republic of Moldavia and other countries.

language "Youth is singing"
This festival has begun in 1970. in Uzdin, through
the corporation of culture centre "Doina"
and music program on Radio Novi Sad on Roumanian
language. It is organised in continuity until 1978.
and it was resumed in 1996. by the initiation of
the musical youth in Uzdin.
It gains a new conception and international character
with the participation of singers of light music
from Roumania and The Republic of Moldavia.
