Geographical position:

Crepaja is the most southern settlement of the Kovačica municipality. It is built east from the lower part of the Tamiš river.

Crepaja has a good traffic position. Through the settlement stretches the regional road Pančevo-Zrenjanin, and in the east and west direction there is the road for Banatsko Novo Selo and Baranda, which provides the connection with the Deliblatska sandy terrain on the east, and with the west parts of the Banat region.

Population:

According to the registration from 2002. year Crepaja had 4855 inhabitants. In the national composition most are Serbs, followed by Gypsys, Slovaks and Hungarians.
